            Hot lunches for the children are served every day there is a full day of school sessions.  The cost of $13.00 PER WEEK or $2.60 per day when there is a short week.  Extra milk will be $.30 per carton payable through pre-paid family lunch/breakfast account

            Free and reduced price hot lunch applications are available throughout the school year should your financial circumstances change due  to job loss, cut in pay/hours, etc., you can stop in the school office to get income eligibility guidelines / application.

            Pop and candy bars should not be included in children’s cold lunch meals.

            No fast food meals should be brought to school for cold lunch (for example - Wendy’s, McDonald’s, etc.).

            In view of the nutritional value of milk all children are expected to drink milk unless they have a medical excuse which exempts them from this policy. This form is available in the school office.

HOT LUNCH/BREAKFAST PAYMENT PLAN 

            Beginning with the 2010-2011 school year, hot lunch payments will be paid in advance into a family account. Meal costs will be deducted on a daily basis from the family account and when remaining balance reaches an established minimum level of funds remaining, families will be notified that additional funds need to be paid to replenish accounts. If any family’s account reaches $20 regular/$10 reduced/$5.00 free or more with a negative balance, hot lunch/breakfast services will be denied until account is replenished including deficit amount.

            Families paying Full Price = $50 per child - notified at $10.00 per child

            Families paying Reduced Price = $10 per child - notified at $2.00 per child

            Families receiving Free Lunches = $5.00 per child if using breakfast program - notified at $1.00 per child.

            Families will be notified via e-mail or phone call when accounts need to be replenished or meals are being denied due to delinquent amount in account.

            Families will need to send the above listed amounts to school within one week of the start of school.
