Lori Tucker

Lori Tucker – First Grade

Mrs. Lori Tucker was born in 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan to Robert and Virginia Hegler. She has been a life-long member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. In 1973, she wed Steven Tucker before the original Bethlehem Lutheran altar. They had been married for 36 years when Steve was called home to be with his Lord and Savior. They were blessed with three children. Kelly who lives with her husband Scott, and their 2 boys, in Schoolcraft, MI; Marshall, who lives in the Saginaw area; and Garrett, who lives with his wife, Julie, in Niles, MI.

She received her Bachelor degree from Saginaw Valley State University in 1992, a colloquy from Concordia College in 1994, and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2001.

She has been teaching first grade at Bethlehem Lutheran School since 1999. Prior to that, she taught three and four year olds at Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Saginaw and Kindergarten & Young Five’s at Zion Lutheran in Bay City.  She feels blessed to have had the opportunity to share the message of Jesus with his little ones and their families for all these years and prays that she may continue for many years to come.
