Trevor Allen Parks has been married to Mary L. Frank since 2000. They have 3 children, Jada, Mia, and Silas. Mr. Parks has been teaching 8th grade, Life Science (7th) grade, and Current health (grades 5-8) at Bethlehem since 2007. He currently teaches 5-8 science, 7/8 history, 6-8 math, bible enrichment. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Mr. Parks is the Athletic Director and “B” team Volleyball coach.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1990-93. He then obtained his associates degree in applied Science (Delta College 2004), followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Education (Saginaw Valley State University 2007). In 2010 he completed the Colloquy Program through Concordia University, Oregon. Mr. Parks was called as a teacher in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in May 2010. He has also finished his Masters in Educational Leadership/Principalship at Concordia University, Ann Arbor in 2013.
Mr. Parks enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and dog (Moses). He also enjoys traveling, boating, working out, playing basketball & volleyball, and watching his beloved Michigan Wolverines – GO BLUE as well as all of the Detroit major sports teams!
His favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
